Easy Slow Cooker Chicken Gravy Bowl

Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 2 packets chicken gravy mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1½ cups low-sodium chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup sour cream (added at the end)
- Salt to taste (after cooking)
For serving (bowl base):
- Mashed potatoes, white rice, egg noodles, or biscuits
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Layer the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together gravy packets, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken, making sure it’s well coated.
- Cover and cook:
- Low: 6–7 hours
- High: 3–4 hours
- Once the chicken is tender, shred it directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
- Stir in the sour cream until the gravy becomes creamy and silky.
- Taste and adjust salt if needed.
- Spoon over your favorite base and garnish with parsley.
